Oceania’s Continent is rich in marine biodiversity and cultural diversity and is proudly represented by Eco teams from countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Island nations. These Eco sports Clubs come together at Oceanian Green Cup™, strengthening the importance of collaboration and global solidarity in addressing environmental challenges and promoting climate resilience.

As Oceania Eco sports Clubs participate in SECOTO, they will contribute to the sports for climate and commit to intertwining sports and climate action. Through their diverse initiatives, These Eco teams will reveal that sports can be a powerful platform for change, inspiring individuals and communities to create awareness of sustainable development Goals

Oceanian Eco Sports Profile

Integrates sports events to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment. By establishing different Initiatives including underwater clean-up events, reef monitoring, and advocating for sustainable tourism practices

Targeting the unique challenges that are facing the Pacific Islands, Oceanian Green Cup™ will bring together sports events to highlight the impacts of climate change, particularly on rising sea levels, tree planting campaigns, and awareness programs on climate-resilient practices.

To emphasize the interconnectedness of ecosystems. Initiatives include sports competitions, beach clean-ups, and tree planting to combat climate change.
