About the Organization

The Eco Arts Initiative is an initiative established by Eco Arts Ltd. A company founded by a Conservationist Artist and author, SHUMBUSHO Patience. It encourages conservation awareness and assists young people to live and interact with nature in harmony, all along improving the lives of communities’ livelihood surrounding Rwanda’s protected areas.

Eco Arts initiative is an official circle cooperation of the United Religion Initiative with the UN status of Economic and Social Development. From this vantage point, Eco Arts Initiative has multiple opportunities to collaborate with diverse nations via global environmental activist movements, thereby bolstering conservation efforts in those countries and learning from one another.

Eco Arts Initiative works hand in hand with the Rwanda Development Board, Gorilla Heroes, Kat Conservation, Solar Cities, the Global Green Grants Fund, and the Global Green Growth Institute for Sustainable Development. Eco Arts Initiative created an awareness campaign about mountain gorillas among children through the culture of reading in the USA, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

Eco Arts Initiative thrives to engage young people in conservation and tourism through sports, conservation camps, entertainment, arts, culture, and explorations. We provide assistance to a youth-disabled community, showcasing their potential in environmental protection and tourism, focusing on communities surrounding Volcanoes National Park, Nyungwe National Park, Akagera National Park, Gishwati-Mukura National Park, Kigali City, and iconic Lake Kivu.
